The buds on the Acer negundo Flamingo that I have chosen for the tree following meme are now fully open revealing their pink edging.
Worcestershire has long history of Fruit Blossom Trails.
I thought, as a seasonal extra, I would show you some of the blossom on our fruit trees. This has been exceptionally good this year.

It does seem to be a very good year for blossom. The trees here are loaded too.
ReplyDeleteWe must hope it has been warm enough for the bees to do their magic.
DeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lea.
DeleteI love all your lovely fruit trees. It is a great year for blossom and I only noticed this year how different apple trees have slightly different blossoms.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was interesting the difference between the fruit blossom and worth recording with the camera and sharing.
DeleteLovely photos of your blossom and the acer with its pink tinge. It was a good year for blossom here too, with no late frosts. Most of it has now gone over already after some very hot weather followed by heavy showers, It is usually shortlived, but beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe appear to be having April showers now in May, hopefully it will not damage the fruit blossom.
DeleteYes, it certainly is a good year for blossom, hopefully the bees have been busy and we won't need our paintbrush this year!
ReplyDeleteI try to restrict the paint brush to the garden furniture and buildings, hoping the bees do their bit!
DeleteBeautiful pictures. You must enjoy your blossoms immensely! Thanks for sharing their beauty.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy them, especially the Pear, beautiful.
DeleteSo many!
ReplyDeleteI know, I need an arboretum and an orchard!
DeletePretty blossom Brian - the blossom is only just coming out here. It's been a slow year.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see how much fruit has set with the variable weather we have had.
